ABOUT BREA DAESHON

I am a self-taught fashion designer who was born and raised in a small town called Whitmire, which is located in South Carolina. I learned to sew around the age 12 by the help of my aunt Sylvia who would teach me during the week at her seamstress shop that she owns. I went to nursing school but eventually realized it was not something I was passionate about. My mind was strictly focused on creating in some type of way. I quit nursing school and started serving jobs right after until I could build a foundation of how I wanted to start my brand. I started my brand as "Brea's Closet". I did this all while working in a room at my moms house. During this phase of my brand I would repurpose thrifted items. Eventually my brand grew tremendously after my viral "1of1" Tops Collection. Soon after that I realized I wanted more. I wanted to create more unique pieces from scratch instead of just repurposing items. This lead me to where I am today with BREA DAESHON. My brand exists as a reminder to others that you are one of a kind. We are all unique in our own way. We all have different stories, experiences, and insecurities that we don’t share. Sometimes putting on a great outfit boosts our confidence in the way we need it. It allows us to express ourselves and get that extra confidence boost that we may need at the time. This drove me to  create unique pieces for my brand that have more meaning, and will allow women to be reminded that they can express themselves in their own way no matter if they share the same clothing design with others in the world. It’s all about you in the outfit, which brings me back to saying we are all one of a kind.
